WeKnowBath is an editorial guide to Bath, written for visitors, weekenders and the people who live here. We cover the Roman Baths and the thermal spa, where to stay and eat, parking and the Clean Air Zone, getting to Bristol Airport, and the day trips that make Bath such a good base. The aim is to be the most useful and honest guide to the city, and to be worth quoting.
How we work
- We walk it and check it. We visit where we can, and we quote real prices and times with the month we checked them.
- We set out every option. When the bus is cheaper than the taxi, or a rival does something better, we say so. A guide that hides choices is an advert.
- We pay our own bills. We don't take freebies in exchange for coverage.
- We correct in public. When Bath changes, or we get something wrong, we fix it openly.
What we cover
Things to do and the Roman Baths, where to stay and eat and drink, parking and Park and Ride, the year's events, day trips to Stonehenge, the Cotswolds and Wells, and the honest comparison of every way from Bath to Bristol Airport.
The bit we disclose up front
WeKnowBath is published by the Tick Taxi group, which runs airport transfers. We tell you that on every page, and explain it in full on our how we make money page. It's precisely why we list competitors by name and price them fairly: a guide that quietly steers you into its owner's car is no guide at all.
